Beachside Paradise

We live in a stunning modern home. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and forest. There is also a golf course very nearby...you can borrow some clubs from us. A bus is very close giving access to the city of you don't have transport. There is a shopping center nearby as well as restaurants and cafes. Your room has its own access door and a stunning ensuite. We have set up an area where you can heat food and make yourself hot drinks although you are also welcome to use our kitchen. This is a modern large house with unique architectural features like a cathedral ceiling with a walk way to a balcony. The house has a pool room with a full size pool table which guests are welcome to use. There are two main living area; we tend to live in the dining kitchen area so guests are free to make use of the other area. There are several outdoor spaces to relax in. Our aim is to give you a warm welcome and a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The room has its own area to heat food however guests are welcome to use the kitchen area as well. We have a full sized pool table on the second floor guests can use. There is a second lounge that guests can make their own. There is a washing machine and dryer ( never set dryer for more than 60 min) that can be used. There is a spare fridge in the garage that guest are welcome to use. Wine and beer are available in the fridge to purchase (prices on display). We operate an honesty system so just leave cash in designated area. When we are free we will drop people at the airport for $30. Ask and we will see if we are available. I am a school teacher so leave for work about 7 each day. I am usually home around 6. We love hosting people so will love chatting with you. Christchurch is an amazing city so ask about places to visit. Sandalwood Place is a small culdesac off of a main thoroughfare, Aston Drive. Many guests arrive in rental cars. There is off street parking at the side of the house. We have one mountain bike in the garage which guests can borrow if they want to go for a cycle around the streets or through the forest. A must do while you stay with us is a walk up the beach. The beach is two minutes away. If you turn right on the beach you will see the New Brighton pier in the distance. It takes about 40 minutes to walk to the pier. There are coffee shops in New Brighton to refresh yourself before you walk back. A main bus route from the city runs down Aston Drive. We are close to the bus stop.
