With IT support on the premises, and going by previous guests' feedback, we offer the perfect "work from home" setup with fast Wi-Fi and a 700-film library. This ideal private retreat for a couple, with an added single sofa bed for a 3rd guest, (only adults 12+ are allowed for safety reasons) has a comfortably sized bedroom, ample kitchenette and bathroom plus a living/dining room with reverse cycle aircon. This 50 square metre studio/cottage is located on a 2-acre property in luscious Ninderry. Although set close to the main house it is private, with a lovely view onto the front lawn and large glass doors that open onto the deck, giving you a sense of spaciousness. There is free NBN fast wifi, a large TV with additional contemporary movie and series screening, a kitchenette with a full-size fridge and microwave, and tea and coffee provisions. Guests also have use of an outdoor gas burner and a pizza oven. The private spacious deck is yours to enjoy if you prefer some fresh air and alfresco dining. This property is ideal for short-term stays and well equipped for long-term stays. You may want to relax on the deck, get out and about to the many beautiful spots just minutes away or snuggle up to some serious film-watching! Guests have the "Nest" all to themselves and the full use of the deck, as well as access to the grounds if they wish to walk or explore (if the kangaroos haven't got there before them!) Vehicles will be protected undercover right outside the front door, in the shared carport. One of our main attractions in this area is the stunning Spirit House Thai Restaurant and Bar, and Cooking School, only 2 minutes down the road. Although a car is recommended for your stay, we can taxi you to the restaurant and back, or to the town of Yandina if you want to have a relaxed night out. We are more than happy to point you in every direction of our fascinating coast, with a large number of recommendations after living here for over 20 years. With a computer technician on the premises, we can give you all the tips for setting your phone up to direct you to your scheduled locations if required. Our little village of Yandina is 3 minutes away and packed with coffee shops, boutiques, pubs, a supermarket, Saturday markets, its famous Ginger Factory, and plenty of medical care if required. We are a couple of minutes drive from the renown Spirit House Restaurant, Bar & Cooking School. Most people are attracted to our nearby beaches, but if you go in the opposite direction you can head up into the hinterland and visit some beautifully quaint villages e.g. Montville, Maleny, Flaxton - only 25 mins away. Whether you are part of a wedding group from Yandina Station or The Rocks, or planning one at one of these lovely venues, a stay at our "Nest" is a recommended convenience. A car is definitely a must to stay at this property. However, there is Uber coverage in the area as well as less affordable taxi service. We consider ourselves to be 15/20 mins from a number of landmarks (the beach @ Coolum, shopping centres, famous Eumundi markets).
