Cozy cottage on the creek

Our house backs directly onto Kockrow creek which leads into St Georges Basin. The creek is great for fishing as it’s full of bream, mud crabs & flathead. It’s also great for swimming, kayaking and all water activities. The natural bush reserve is full of local flora, fauna and native birds. Kangaroos roam freely. Just remember they are wild animals so keep your distance. The ocean is minutes away with cafes, clubs and restaurants at Huskisson & Vincentia. Our home is relatively small and cozy with only one bathroom and one toilet. We are not set up for large numbers of single adult groups. The top bunks have a 50 kg limit and the 2 foldout beds are more suited to children. Our place is suited for 2 families or 5 adults and 4 children. The chiminea on the back deck is decorative only. Not to be used for safety reasons. We provide minimal fishing equipment. We also provide 2 kayaks & life jackets, all to be used with adult supervision and by adults who have basic knowledge of CPR. The kayaks can be easily placed into the creek via a little beach area in the back yard. We have placed hooks on the trees around the fire pit for you to bring your own hammock if you desire. Our back deck is very large and most guests spend the majority of their time outside of the house enjoying the views and weather. We’re a minute away from golf course/ lawn Bowles at The Country Club Sanctury Point. Guests can access the entire house and everything in it and the shed We live in Sydney so will not be there to greet you but if you have any issues or problems you can contact us on our mobile. The neighbourhood is very beautiful , green & leafy. The neighbours are very friendly and approachable. Please do not park on the grass in front of the neighbours houses. The best way to get around is by car as there isn’t much public transport. You can get courtesy buses to all the local clubs at Country Club Sanctury Point, clubs at Huskisson & Vincentia. There is a shopping centre at Vincentia with Aldi & Woolworths. There is an IGA, lliquor shop, cafes & various takeaway places at Sanctury Point local shopping centre a minute away We do not provide Wifi. Keep the front & back gates closed at all times. If kangaroos get into the yard it’ll be difficult to get them out. You can feed them safely from the front deck or with the back fence between you and the kangaroos. If you go out it’s a good idea to leave the house keys in the lockbox because we provide one set of keys only
