The gite is a charming conversions of a stable with exposed beams and stones, the bedrooms are well appointed and there is a cosy living/dining room and a fitted kitchen. The gîte has a private terrace and garden with barbecue Nestled at the top of a peaceful hamlet overlooking the Auvézère valley and surrounded by woods and meadows, come and discover our converted stable with private terrace, large garden and swimming pool which combine charm and authenticity. It is an ideal base for a quiet vacation to recharge your batteries or to enjoy all the attractions and activities of the region within a radius of 50 km. You will be spoiled for choice between walks in the heart of nature through the walnut orchards, lazing around by the large swimming pool, visits to castles and geological sites, gastronomy ... It is a paradise for all lovers of nature and for astronomy enthusiasts. The large swimming pool of 5m x 13m (with descending beach at a depth of 1.5m) is shared with our other gîte La Grange, it is exposed to the sun throughout the day. The swimming pool, the deckchairs and the garden are cleaned by us every morning. There is a ping-pong table for those who want to exercise or lounge for a glass of local wine under the shade of a large walnut tree are at your disposal. Well behaved pets are considered as part of the garden area is secure, please inform on booking if you wish to bring a pet Guests have complete private access to the gîte, terrace and allocated garden space We live next to the gites and are available if any queries during your stay The gite is located in a rural setting but are only 2km from the picturesque village of Tourtoirac on the banks of the Auvézère with its famous Grotto (accessible to all), its bakery, butcher, grocery store and two restaurants. 8km away is the magnificent Château d'Hautefort and its small Museum of Medicine . In Hautefort, there is also a supermarket and a market (open all year round on Wednesdays, 8 am to 1 pm). We also have a 9 hole golf course 10 min away near Excideuil Please note the swimming pool is shared with our other gîte La Grange Please bring your own pool/beach towels to use for the swimming pool area We have 1 parking space for L’Ecurie and the other parking spaces are in the communal parking areas No unregistered guests are allowed on the property unless authorized
