Maison de Sagnes Villematier

Set in the grounds of a Chateau, 30 minutes north of Toulouse airport, Maison de Sagnes is a beautifully restored period home with all modern conveniences situated on the river Tarn. The house is exceptionally family friendly. It has a private garden with a gated pool and BBQ terrace area. Situated close to the Maison is a large outdoor play area (shared with the owners) A beautiful rural escape within cycling distance of the local town with it's fresh baked baguettes and beautiful market. The property has two large super-king bedrooms and two twin single rooms located on the first floor with two bathrooms (one ensuite.) The house comfortably sleeps 8 but there is an option of a fifth bedroom sofa bed on the ground floor with a third large bathroom to give privacy and flexibility around sleeping arrangements. (See 'other things to note' for maximum occupancy) There are two lounges with British 'freesat ' TV. The grounds are very private and quiet. The pool and garden are not overlooked. Should the idyllic setting prove too peaceful we invite you to the shared children's play area. This is a children's paradise with swings, slides, games and tables conveniently positioned in the shade to enjoy a lunch or sunset drinks as the young (and old) play. Our young family can usually be tempted into a game of frisbee or tag on the open field. The house is fully equipped and self contained on two levels. The only shared area is the playground. There are stairs down to the swimming pool area. There are on site caretakers to hand over the keys. The host family usually spend June and July at the Chateau. Their friendly children are 12, 10 and 8 years. The picturesque town of Villemur Sur Tarn is less than 5 km away. There is a large supermarket and amazing bakery less than 5 minutes away. Local markets throughout the region. Many attractions for children including a small water park within walking distance and a cycling path on the doorstep. Lots of activity on and away from the river for the more adventurous and for those wishing for a slower pace, beautiful gardens and glorious Chateaus. All within an hour.
