Modern yurt at Le Ranch Camping

The Yurt is perfect for a relaxing break away where you can really switch off. The modern yurt has a stylish, cosy interior with a comfortable double bed, all linen and towels are included as well as extra blankets, 2 single sofa beds, clothes rail and storage, electric and lighting, heating and fan. There is a private covered summer kitchen including fridge oven and stove, Electric sockets, Wifi. Out side you have lounge seating and a picnic table. All you have to do is just turn up. This really is not camping! the yurt is equipped just like a self catering accommodation but with the freedom and beautiful setting of camping. It really is a space to switch off, relax and unwind, we have kept the campsite small with only 6 pitches that includes the yurt and belle tent and our 2 safari tents, so you will have privacy and space in our 8 acres site. During the month of April and October we have a wood heated jacuzzi available for hire at An additional cost of €10 per heating. Free parking next to the yurt or in our carpark. We live on site, but respect your privacy. Le Ranch Yurt is situated in the pretty, tranquil village of Madranges in the Corrèze, the southernmost department of the Limousin, a region renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, history and traditions. Nestled in the foothills of the Monédières in the Millevaches parc naturel, the yurt is ideally situated for cycling, fishing and walking yet is only 10 minutes drive from the nearest town of Treignac and less than an hour from the medieval city of Brive La Gaillarde with its bustling Saturday morning market, or the lively city of Limoges. A car is a must due to being in a rural area. Our nearest village with a restaurant and bakery and small shop is Le Lonzac 6km away and then there is Treignac 10km which has more to offer, including a swimming lake with a sports centre. We have a strict no noise policy between 23.00h. And 8.00h. Shower and toilet facilities are shared with 3 other tents and 2 camping pitches. There is a family wet room with toilet, sink and baby changing facilities, another shower room with toilet and sink , separate toilet & hand basins and washing up sink. Facilities on site include, a small bar with license 3 where we also serve pizza (opening time vary please contact us for details), a 5.5m above ground swimming pool, table tennis, communal seating, honesty shop with a selection of drinks hot and cold and ice creams, tourist information and a small selection of games and books. Bread and pastries are available for delivery to your tent every day except Thursday. you can also purchase fresh eggs from our chickens. Please note: our above ground swimming pool is open May to September. The pool is not heated.
