Pond View at Yeabridge Farm
Pond View is a newly created ground floor studio flat in our lovely farmhouse with great views. There is room for your car to be parked out side your door and a seating area with herbs planted around and which can be a sun trap. I'm afraid there is no electric hook up yet for electric cars the nearest power points would be Yeovil, Bridport and Chard. We are situated just off the A3066 which is handy for all the great locations in the area but please allow for some road noise. Pond View is a light and airy studio flat with fabulous views over the Dorset countryside. You walk into the flat through french windows into the living area which includes a double sofa, kitchen table with four chairs and the kitchen area. Off to the right is a spacious shower room. Opposite the sofa area there is a very comfortable double bed and chest of drawers which makes up the bedroom area. There is a tv on the wall which rotates so that you can watch tv from either the kitchen, sofa or bed. Pond View is very much suited to couples getting away. It is not suitable for children. You have a small sunny gravelled area outside your door which catches the sun and in the evenings you can see some great sunsets. Just in front of the building there is a large pond and guests are welcome to walk around and give the ducks a small amount of bread or ask us for some duck food for them. There are double patio doors into the property. We are on site if guests need to talk to us and also available via the Air bnb app, texts, email and phone. We are set roughly halfway between the small attractive towns of Crewkerne and Beaminster on the edge of the village of Mosterton . The Jurassic Coast is a twenty minute drive away with many places to explore from West Bay where the hit tv program Broadchurch was filmed to Lyme Regis which has been the scene for films and tv also. In Mosterton we have a great pub serving good quality food at reasonable prices and a busy village shop which has most necessities. The pub is a two minute drive away or if you’d like to walk to it, it is about twenty minutes. Both the towns of Crewkerne and Beaminster have take away food options plus there is a railway station in Crewkerne with the railway line going to London one way and is the gateway to the West Country ending up in Cornwall. Exeter is a forty minute ride with many good shops, cafes and restaurants. We have plenty of room for cars to park and welcome bikes too. There are local taxis to use also. There is a train station in Crewkerne going to London or to the rest of the West Country.
