You will have your own cedar wood-fired hot tub, the perfect place to view the stars on winter evenings or sooth the muscles at the end of the day. The famous and stunning Macmillan way runs through the estate, you can walk or cycle to Westonbirt Arboretum, the Royal Beaufort Polo or Castle Combe. Ideal for all year round stays, there is a wood burner, extra warm duvet and plenty of blankets to ensure a cosy sleep. En-suite facilities, a quirky outside shower, an honesty bar, stove, BBQ and fire pit are all included to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. If you feel like room service, our concierge delivers delicious food and drink so you can relax and have a luxurious, quiet night in. We are four stops and 70 minutes from London Paddington but a million miles from the city! We will provide local taxi service details or we can provide you with electric bicycles if you choose to join us by train, and after booking we will message you more detailed instructions and a map. The Wild Hut site is off-grid however our adjacent cafe is fully wi-fi connected, open 7 days a week and the perfect place to catch up with the outside world while enjoying a coffee, lunch, cake or glass of champagne. We can arrange a number of experiences or adventures as well as recommend places to eat, walk and cycle. Each Wild Hut is designed to be a private space away from daily life so we are as unobtrusive as possible but always on tap when you need us. We are very dog friendly, there are plenty of walks around Chavenage. Please note an additional charge payable on site of £30 per stay. Nestled between Highgrove (Prince Charles) and Gatcombe (Princess Anne), Chavenage has over 2000 acres of countryside, surrounded by many popular local tourist attractions. It is no surprise that the exquisite Elizabethan estate is the go-to film location for many period dramas including Barry Lyndon, Cider with Rosie, Dracula, Lark Rise to Candleford and Poldark. Guided walking and cycling tours around the estate can be arranged. For the best local spots to visit, the ancient town of Tetbury is easily walkable and full of charming little shops and antiques stores. We also recommend Westonbirt Arboretum, Prince Charles' Highgrove Garden Shop, Chedworth Villa's Mosaics or dip into the local markets towns such as Nailsworth, Bibury or Stroud. Our stunning region is known as the Five Valleys, with beautiful walks and bicycle tours to sample the amazing food for instance at Stroud's farmers market (a real hidden gem). Located between Kemble & Stroud stations (each 6 miles away), only 70 minutes from London Paddington and 15 minutes from the M5. There is free parking on site and you will be given complimentary bicycles to get around. When you book you will be given the exact location and we provide detailed directions and a map. Once on site, we provide a map showing local walking and cycling routes as well as offering a free concierge service to recommend places of interest and book experiences. There are other Wild Huts at Chavenage but all are located with privacy in mind and spaced apart.
