The family friendly beach of Blackpool Sands is just 1 mile away and the chic coastal town of Dartmouth is 4 miles away. Offering idyllic seaside charm with homely modern day comforts, this beautifully presented 200 year old former barn provides that “Escape to the Country” dream. Located down timeless country tracks and with far reaching southerly views over the valley and beyond, Cider Press is just one mile from one of Devon’s most treasured coastal hotspots – Blackpool Sands and only four miles from the enchanting town of Dartmouth, well known for it’s fabulous shops and large selection of restaurants. Presented to enhance its period charms and enriched in character, the ground floor offers a relaxed and welcoming ambience for guests to feel right at home. The front door opens straight into the large spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living area, open brick fireplace with wood burning stove and double doors leading to a small patio/garden area, perfect for those hot summer alfresco days and glass of wine or two. On the first floor, there is a master king ensuite offering double aspect windows, one with stunning countryside views, one double bedroom set up with two 3ft divan single beds and a family bathroom. Perfect for family and friends to enjoy! Guests have access to the all weather tennis court shared with other cottages on the estate and can stroll around the well manicured gardens too. Cider Press also has its own allotted parking bay for one vehicle. We do not provide a cot in Cider Press, but you are welcome to bring your own. Stair gates are a permanent fixture. We have a locally based property management company on hand to assist you during your stay in an emergency. The neighbourhood is a very quiet and peaceful spot in an area of natural beauty. We would recommend the use of a car due to the rural location We can only provide a parking space for 1 vehicle.
