Single Comfy Room in Frome - No Cleaning Fee
Get a good night's sleep on the award winning Emma mattress in this super clean single bedroom. The room has a little desk and tea and coffee making facilities. You will be given the password for the speedy WiFi. There is a shared bathroom with a shower. Parking is easy. Sometimes you can park on the drive but there is always plenty of space available in the quiet cul-de-sac. We are an easy ten minute walk from the centre of this thriving Somerset town. Kitchen can be used by agreement. You will have a single bed in a quiet, well cleaned room. There are tea and coffee making facilities and you also have access to the kitchen by arrangement. You have access to speedy WiFi. This quiet house is a stone's throw from the vibrant centre of Frome with its cobbled streets and independent shops and restaurants. We can give tips on places to eat out if that suits your plans. The room is in a private house and is run by me, Elisabeth, with my neighbour Sonia. We want this to be a comfy and enjoyable stay and we work hard to ensure that your visit is a good one. We are able to give tips about places to visit and can give some very good pointers about the cafes, restaurants and bars the town has to offer. We offer self check-in. We try to keep a low profile and give clear information so you'll know exactly what to do and where to go. We are ready to give you insider tips and will help out in whatever way we can. Frome is a vibrant town. It dates back to the middle ages and mixes old and new in a truly unique way. You will find independent shops scattered among brilliant restaurants and cafes. On the first Sunday of every month, from March to November, you will find the centre of town transformed into a market place. Independent traders from all over Somerset visit and set up their stalls and you will be fascinated by what is on offer. The food is pretty good at these events too! When you stay with us you will realise how close you are to the places you’ve always wanted to visit. Glastonbury is just up the road. You can walk up to the Tor in the morning and then shop in the designer outlet ‘Clark’s Village’ in Street in the afternoon. Or why not visit Bath? You will discover Roman Britain and Jane Austin within a short walk of each other with shops and restaurants in between. If you fancy a day in the open air you can choose between Longleat and Stour Head. And only an hour away you can find one of the most world-famous landmarks of all – Stonehenge. The house has off-street parking for one car but there is also on street parking in this quiet road. We are also well served by public transport. The railway station is only ten minutes walk away. Busses to Bath leave frequently from the town centre. There is also Frome Electric Car Club that you can join online. The Town Council has recently introduced a system where you can rent e bikes on a half day or daily basis.Everything in Frome Frome is regularly featured in magazines and newspapers as one of the best places to live and is well worth a visit. There are usually plenty of events on and happily things are gradually getting back to normal as far as this is concerned. You are also close to Longleat and not at all far from Bath and Stonehenge.
