Looking for a beautiful, quiet, stylish flat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in lakeland? You've just found it! Five minutes’ walk from the shops, restaurants and the train station, yet cosy and quiet. Great for couples, solo adventurers, or backpackers on a budget. Gay and straight friendly. Continental breakfast included! COVID 19: I am fully vaccinated including booster, and accept fully vaccinated guests only. I have signed up to all AirBnB's requirements on preventing infection. Your luxurious private bedroom on the lower floor is complete with a kingsize bed, all bedding, towels, clothes storage, hangers, and hair dryer. There is one shared bathroom and one extra toilet. On the upper floor, you will be very welcome to use the front room, with its great views, and the kitchen and dining room. You will be welcome to share the kitchen and front room with me. I will provide a continental breakfast in the morning (fruit, cereals, bread, toast, lashings of tea and coffee). You can use the tea, coffee, milk, sugar, butter, cooking oil, etc., for your own meals at any reasonable time. The front room and patio have estuary and lakeland views, and get the afternoon and evening sun. The whole apartment is fully double glazed with great central heating, so it’s easy to be cosy and comfortable even on rainy days. During your stay I'll be very happy to show you the flat, socialise as much or as little as you want, and discuss the best walks and places to see in the area. I love this area and am very enthusiastic about it! The village of Arnside is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Mysterious wooded hills, delightful hidden villages, limestone outcrops and sweeping bays and estuaries give this area a unique feel. We are close to the Lake District National Park, though not actually in it. A 30-minute drive will take you within the park to many hills and mountains, lakes and villages. There are great local walks - Arnside Knott, the coast path, and the famous cross-bay walk (only to be done with the qualified guide). I know lakeland pretty well and can give you suggestions for walks, and lend you maps and guidebooks. My home is ten minutes' walk from Arnside railway station. The village has everything you'll need for relaxing: great local walks that don't need a car, as well as coffee shops, grocery shops, a bakery, a post office, restaurants, one famous fish and chip shop, and art shops. About COVID-19 protection measures: Please note that I am fully vaccinated, including booster. I follow the AirBnB enhanced cleaning requirements, observe social distancing, and use a mask in shops, trains, cinemas, etc. Please confirm, in your first communication, that you are also fully vaccinated, and please bring your NHS Vaccine pass with you as proof. I reserve the right to decline any prospective guest who is not fully vaccinated.
