Refresh and relax in our brand new modern studio apartment with direct access to the saltwater pool and sub-tropical gardens. Located on a quiet leafy street in inner-city Brisbane and within close proximity to the CBD, the Gabba, Brisbane International Tennis Centre, Southbank and cultural precinct, hospitals, universities and parks. Our private studio will feel like home for singles, couples, families and business people. Our brand new light filled studio has fresh modern decor and is fully screened with ceiling fans and is air conditioned. The 32m2 modern studio includes a queen sized bed and sofa (sleeps 2 kids or 1 adult), generous kitchenette, bathroom with large shower and separate toilet. Shampoo, conditioner, body and hand soaps are provided. An additional single bed can be added if required. The kitchenette includes a nespresso coffee machine, microwave and steamer, two mobile induction elements, pans, electric frypan, kettle, toaster and crockery and utensils for 4 people. Complimentary coffee and tea is supplied along with linen including extra towels for the pool. A tv and dvd can be enjoyed from the dining table, sofa or bed (rotates). Free wifi is available. The studio is built under the huge deck of our 1920's renovated Queenslander. The studio overlooks and has direct access to the saltwater pool and sub-tropical garden. It has a private entry via the north side of our house. There is plenty of free on-street parking available. Entire Studio and share the saltwater pool, garden and washing line with us. The washing machine and dryer are available if requested. We live upstairs, so we can answer any queries and provide directions and local tips. We respect your privacy, so our interaction can be as little or as much as you prefer. Annerley is a vibrant and highly popular inner city suburb with a diverse community. It enjoys the convenience of being 6km or less to the CBD, Brisbane International Tennis Centre, the Gabba, Southbank and cultural precinct (GOMA, Museum, Science Centre, Art Gallery and QPAC) major hospitals (Princess Alexandra, Mater Private, Greenslopes Private and Lady Cilento Children's) major universities (UQ, QUT and Griffith), Brisbane Gold Club and Brisbane River. Annerley is also very close to West End, Highgate Hill, Fortitude Valley and New Farm. A number of fantastic markets are close by include Rocklea, Boggo Road, West End and Southbank. Annerley has a local shopping centre, 2 supermarkets, Yeronga Park heated swimming complex, local libraries, fantastic cafes and restaurants (Cafe O-Mai, Red Lotus, Box'd Espresso Bar, Dudley Street Cafe, Billycart Kitchen) which are mainly within 10 mins walk of the Studio. Annerley is very walkable and has great public transport connections and there are some lovely bikeways along the Brisbane River and to the CBD. PUBLIC TRANSPORT The bus stop is 200m from the studio on Ipswich Road with frequent quick direct journeys to the CBD via PA, Gabba, Mater and Lady Cilento, Southbank and Cultural Centre. Fairfield train station is 700m with direct trains north to the CBD (via Southbank and South Brisbane), Airport Sunshine Coast and south to the Gold Coast. The closest Ferry terminal is located at the University of Queensland and is a lovely way to see Brisbane. Purchase a Go Card to access cheaper fares for bus, train and ferry. BY VEHICLE Getting to the Gold Coast (1 hr), theme parks (40 mins), Bryron Bay (2hrs) is easy given the direct access to the South-East Freeway. The Sunshine Coast is 1.5 hours, Noosa is 2 hrs and the Airport is 20 mins via the toll tunnels. We have a dog “Truffles“ and a cat “Nougat“ who are both very friendly but not allowed inside the studio.
