Seaphrodite - Two Bedroom Villa all year round

Just 10 minutes walk from the beach, close to the main climbing routes, with stunning sea views, within walking distance from local amenities, yet in a fairly private setting and off the beaten track so you will not be kept awake at night by traffic noise or loud music! With two spacious double bedrooms, the house is ideal for couples, solo adventurers and families. Recently re-furbished and furnished with care to provide comfort combined with the simplicity and ambiance inspired by the local traditions. The house is accessed via steps so you should be reasonably fit and healthy.( We haven't counted them but there about 23 wide steps with intermediate landings, that my 91 year old mother is happy to use!) The single beds in the two aiconditioned bedrooms give flexible sleeping arrangements as there is plenty of space for them to be pulled together or kept apart. The sofa bed in the sitting area is a single bed size for a fifth person to sleep. The private and secure setting with the covered terraces provide ideal space for those who like to sleep under the stars, as my daughter does using the sunloungers or the hammock ! Various spaces for eating either in the dining inside at cooler times of the year or on one of the two interconnected terraces enjoying the stunning views with magnificent sunsets! We love cooking, so we equipped the kitchen to be able to prepare a proper meal. The bathroom is simple and very easy to use and keep clean, ergonomically designed to accommodate the washing machine and storage cupboard. For the cooler winter months, the living room is large enough to sit, eat, cook and relax, whereas the sheltered terrace turns to a warm suntrap allowing to enjoy the outside in the day time. Full house We live away from the island for most of the time but we are always available on the phone for any queries. Any problems that may arise can be solved very quickly as our family on the island will arrange for any emergencies. Close to one of the best beaches on the island with its black volcanic sand and a couple of simple low tone beach bars/taverna ideal for lunchtime snacks or evening drinks after a dive in the sea as the sun settles. Alternative more secluded small beaches next to this one are great for snorkeling but not good with rough seas. The footpath to the beach is safe and a good shortcut avoiding the traffic on the winding main road. The houses around are all lived in by local families. There is private parking for your car or motorbike if you choose to rent one. Local food shops and restaurants at Elies square are within 15 minute walking distance. There are bus stops at Elies Square. Taxis are widely available and fairly cheap to use. You can rent a motorbike for approx. 10 Euros/day.
