Luxurious, clean, renovated, eco friendly.Ideal for visitors who wish to experience Greek hospitality and way of living. Located on a traditional village close to beaches, mountain, tavernas.(3-5 min drive,15-20 min walk from the nearest beach). This is a family home, more than 400 years old. It's been recently fully renovated, mainly built by stone, solid wood and kourasani. Kourasani is a natural traditional, ecological finish plaster and it consists of coloured sand, argile powder, pumice, natural pozzolans from Greek quarries and volcanos. It is renovated with lots of love and respect to traditional architecture and design, choosing high quality ecological building materials. We tried to create a warm, homely atmosphere and provide all possible comforts at top quality. There are 2 double bedrooms with brand new orthopedic mattresses, a portable single bed and a single sofa bed in the living room. Upon request we can provide facilities for young children for free (e.g. cot, toys, highchair). Our guests have access to all facilities within the house and the small yard -safe for young kids- just outside the house. There, you can enjoy your meals or relax on the sofa. There isn't a garden. If there is no parking area around the house, you can park your car 300m away from the house,4 minutes walking,on the road near the olive grove. If we are in Corfu and aren't at work when you land, we'll certainly welcome you at the airport / port and offer you a free drive to the house. Liapades is one of the most beautiful traditional villages of Corfu. It is surrounded by hills full of olive groves, picturesque small roads, tracks, hiking trails, ancient donkey paths. The coastline offers amazing unspoilt views over various bays where most people can reach only by organised boat tours. Visitors can enjoy the local beautiful beaches, old churches, people’s hospitality and feel at home. There are several tavernas, cafés, bars, a bakery, mini markets and pharmacy in the village. Local people are lovely and friendly and it's a unique opportunity to experience what it's like living in a traditional Corfiot village. Within a short walk you can enjoy the olive wood, breathtaking views and the beautiful beaches. These will be the memories of Corfu that will be with you forever. There is a bus going to the city centre twice or 3 times a day. It takes about 30 minutes to get there. Possibility of renting a car, a motorbike or a bicycle at a special rate from the village. If you are interested, please get in touch with me for further details. Liapades village to Corfu airport by taxi costs approximately 40-45 euros. Free parking outside the house if there is parking area around the house. The roads of village are small and we recommend to park your car 150m away from the house on the road near the olive groove.(3 minutes walking). We offer shampoo, shower gel and conditioner for free. The kitchen is fully equipped and it includes kettle, coffee machine and toaster. All electrical appliances such as washing machine, air-conditioning units are brand new.
