What We Love This elevated coastal 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom home is located just 5 minutes (walking distance) from both Curl Curl and Dee Why Beaches. The self-contained property feels sophisticated and relaxed, with wood floorboards and modern amenities and décor throughout. It is well equipped for both short or longer term stays, and suitable for up to 4 guests. You’ll feel right at home in the open plan kitchen, living and dining spaces, which are situated near glass doors that open to reveal the outdoor entertainment area. The full-facilities kitchen feels spacious, with cleverly designed compact spaces for appliances and storage. For casual dining, make use of the kitchen breakfast bar, or instead venture outside to the table with seating for four. Here you can take in the stunning view of palm trees and glimpses of the picturesque blue ocean. You will also have use of the Weber gas BBQ, which offers easy al fresco cooking and dining. Relax indoors on the lounge suite (with ottomans, so you can really kick back with your feet up and unwind), and perhaps watching something on Netflix from the TV. Adding to the warmth and ambience in this room is the chic designer glass-fronted fireplace that complements the cosy space. The home also has air conditioning, ceiling fans and heating for your comfort! The gorgeous bathroom has a glass shower, plus some special features; including underfloor heating, heated towel rails, a double vanity and "his and hers" sinks to make getting easy a breeze. The master bedroom features a spacious queen-size bed. The versatile second "nook" space in the home can be set up as a study space with desk, or if extra bedding is needed it also has an easy, pull-out wall double bed available. This property is situated the covetable location of North Curl Curl (known better as "Curly" to locals) in the Northern Beaches region of Sydney. The family-friendly area is peaceful and relaxed, yet not too far from the lively atmosphere of the Northern Beaches. It is close in proximity to local beaches, and also local cafés, restaurants and shops. Points of Interest For a top-notch breakfast, head on foot to Bacino Bar on Pitt St (10 mins away from the house). Or head a little further down the street to Split (excellent coffees and great gelatos too). Feeling peckish? We suggest heading over the hill towards the Dee Why beachfront towards JahBar for delicious tapas or if you want the freshest sushi, you can’t go past Ocean Sushi (everything is made fresh to order). For dining out, Sale & Pepe in Brookvale have great Italian cuisine or Pilu in neighbouring Freshwater is more of a fine dining experience. Harbord Diggers Vietnamese food is also super tasty. Why not complete your foodie journey with a cold drink? There is an array of wonderful craft breweries in Brookvale that have a "cellar door" for tastings, including Manly Spirits, 4 Pines, Seadrift, Bucketty, Nomad and 7th Day. After some light exercise? The Headland walk from North Curl Curl to Dee Why is full of scenic views of the beachy surrounds and fresh coastal air. Retail therapy can be found at Warringah Mall, which has an array of high-street and department store shopping available (with a cinema and food options too). Or, why not head to Manly Corso for a range of boutique shopping and weekend outdoor stall markets.
