Located in town (2 miles from campus), this spacious open 2-story 3 BDM, 2.5 Bath home with private landscaped backyard and patio, sunroom porch, cool basement hangout, (and many more amenities!) with over 2500 sq. feet, this home is perfect for large groups. Sleeps 10+: King, Queen, Full, 2 Twins, Sofa Bed plus air mattress and 4 couches as backups! This is a pet friendly home: dog door, fenced-in yard, gated off dog/sun porch area to keep the animals secure in the home while you go out! The space 2 living rooms, one dining room on main level, as well as a countertop eat-in kitchen and sun porch perfect for having coffee in the morning! Beautiful 25+ windows, lotsa light, cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, eclectic retro decor, and my husband Jim made the cherry dining table. Laundry room is on main floor, 1/2 bath on main floor, as well as a full kitchen & TV hangout room. 2 bathrooms upstairs next to the 3 main bedrooms (1 in Master suite, 1 between the other two BDMs). Master bath has jacuzzi tub and separate glass shower. Family-Friendly Fun extras: a basketball hoop outside, and bumper pool table/card table, TV hangout upstairs and down, board games, legos and more in the basement for kids. The neighborhood/surrounds House is in a quiet neighborhood, but the backyard feels like you are out in the country, with trees all around, shady and cool. Our yard is relaxing: chill on the patio, cook a pizza in our wood-fired pizza oven, relax and make yourself at home! So close to campus, and we live in the neighborhood which has the only access in town to the Oxford Community Park: you can walk, bike, scooter, go to the pool in the summer for $5, watch a local flag football, baseball or soccer game almost any night of the week, and there are two playgrounds for kiddos. Oxford is a very walkable, bike-able city. Guest access: Lockbox allows for self-check-in, flexible check-in time, guests will have access to entire property except for the garage (tools and motorcycles, mower, etc. are stored there). Parking in private driveway allows for two cars, and plenty of easy, free parking on adjacent cul-de-sac. This is a completely private home with private entry. Dogs welcome: there is also a fenced-in yard, gate entry to yard, and a back sliding glass door with access to the fenced-in backyard. Self-check-in/lockbox, one of us will come over if you would like, to give the tour/answer any questions. Our neighborhood is quiet and serene. Like I said above, it is just a short walk to the Oxford Community Park and new Oxford Aquatic Center. We are the only neighborhood with a cut-through to the OCP, and it is just a few blocks walk or bike there. Oxford is a great place to visit! Uptown Oxford has restaurants and shopping, and Miami University has a beautiful campus. Whether you need a good night's rest in comfy/cozy, spacious relaxing surroundings, or you need a quiet pet and kid-friendly retreat, we hope our home will fit all of your needs! We also have pets, (cats and dogs) so if you have allergies, be aware that we will do our best to clean the house top to bottom, spic and span, but there still could be some dander around the house. We take our dogs with us, and board the cats, so you only have the neighborhood songbirds to keep you company out on our back patio.
