Situated on a 1.5-acre block, this comfortable holiday accommodation will set the foundation for a relaxing get away. This 4-bedroom holiday rental is an ideal family retreat on the Gold Coast and can accommodate up to 12 guests. Bring the family, or two and enjoy the best that the Gold Coast has to offer. Close to beaches, theme parks, world class sporting facilities, shopping and restaurants – you’ll wish you could stay longer. The birdlife is abundant, with regular visits from Kookaburras, Cockatoos, Rainbow Lorikeets and many more. You might even be lucky enough to see the rare King Parrots or Black Cockatoos that have been spotted on the property. Not to mention the local kangaroos who can be seen early in the morning feeding up and down the street. This property is quite unique as there are 2 houses on the site, which share common grounds, like the pool and grassed areas. This holiday rental has exclusive use of an outdoor entertaining area, which is lovely to enjoy as the sun sets behind the mountain in the afternoon. Adjacent to the house is a full sized Vuly Trampoline that will help entertain the children for hours. On the grounds we in the process of planting a fruit orchard. Guests will be able to help themselves to the many fruits on offer as they ripen. This is particularly impressive in the summer months with the mango tree in full bloom. The Gold Coast Hinterland Retreat is a 1.5 acre block with 2 properties on site. Only one of the properties is available for bookings. - Guests have full access to the house and back verandah of the listed property. - The pool area is communal, as are the back of the grounds. Our aim is to always welcome our guests on check-in. We are here to assist you as best we can. We also live in a separate house on the property, so please feel free to contact us at any time during your stay. Please be aware, photo of pool area in our listing is taken from vantage which best depicts pool. Pool is in communal area - fenced and screened from both properties. LOCATION This property is close to all that the Gold Coast has to offer, without being in the middle of it. Being only 3 mins to the M1 Pacific Motorway, guests can easily access the theme parks, beaches, nightlife and other Gold Coast attractions. A local vintage style café serves the infamous Merlo coffee and provides a great value breakfast & lunch 7 days a week. Worongary Town Centre is a few minutes down the road, and provides all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. Not only is there a major supermarket, bakery & butcher, but you also have a number of take-away food outlets, a bottle shop as well as medical services too. Within 20mins, you can find yourself swimming at Surfers Paradise, dining in Broadbeach, surfing at Currumbin, shopping at Pacific Fair or Harbourtown, having a dally at Jupiters Casino, or on the Giant Drop at Dreamworld. The Gold Coast is currently preparing for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. The sporting facilities are world class and all close to the property. A number of international renowned Golf Courses, such as Royal Pines are only minutes from the home and just waiting to be enjoyed by you. In under an hour you can be in Brisbane enjoying the Southbank Cultural Precinct – home to the lagoon, trendy dining, museums, - or even enjoying the view from the Brisbane eye. Having access to a car is recommended. There is a public bus stop on Hinkler Drive (approx. 15 minute) walk. It is very important to us that we maintain high standards of facilities to our guests. Please be sure to let us know if something isn't working properly, or is in need of repair. We understand that from time to time things can break or get damaged. Please be honest and let us know if this happens during your stay. Without this knowledge we are not able to replace broken items for future guests. There are a number of different bedding configurations available upon request. It is our policy only to prepare bedding and linen for the number of guests confirmed in the booking. If you wish to have additional guests, or additional bedding prepared (i.e., for guests who do not wish to share the king, queen or double beds), you will be charged the additional $25/night per person to compensate for laundering and reorganisation of furniture required to accommodate this request. Whilst we understand that more often than not guests staying with us are here to enjoy a holiday, we ask that on departure instructions in pre-check out message be followed. Excessive cleaning, reorganisation of rubbish into correct bins, substantial spills that require professional cleaning, linen permanently marked with tan or make-up products may incur additional cleaning fees.
