ED Refnr. 2764961 Renovated former farmhouse with a garden, in the beautiful Auvergne nature with its volcanoes This former farmhouse from the year 1830 is in a little village at an altitude of 1100 metres, at the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Park and in the magical surroundings of the Livradois Forez nature reserve. From up here one can enjoy a beautiful view over the volcano landscape. You can spend relaxing holidays surrounded by beautiful nature, far away from crowds, traffic and the hecticness of everyday life. The house was comprehensively renovated in 2011 and provides 130m² of space for six people. It consists of a 60m² living room, two big bedrooms, a big bathroom and two toilets. You can relax in the living room, with a sofa, TV, stereo system and library, after an exciting day. It also has a cosy dining space and a fully-equipped kitchen unit with an old bread-baking oven. The wood-burning oven, which can be used for heating in winter, exudes a cosy atmosphere. Firewood is provided. The big parents’ bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed, whereby the upper bunk is not suitable for children under six years of age. The second bedroom also has a double bed, as well as a cot for a toddler. The bathroom has an Italian shower and a WC. There is also an additional separate toilet. The enclosed garden with seating, a big table and a grill in front of the house also provides storage space for bicycles. Baby equipment, comprising a cot for a toddler up to two years old and a highchair, is available on request. The owner welcomes you on arrival and shows you the house. The nearby locality of Fix St Geney has a bakery and a butcher. There are further shops in the little town of Langeac. 7km away there is the volcanic crater Mont Bar à Allègre. Nature lovers can go hiking, riding, mountain biking or gathering mushrooms and forest berries. There are many hiking trails, as well as riding stables in the area. The gorge of Allier is about 20 km away, near Langeac. There you can do canoeing, rafting and of course enjoy swimming.
