A stunning private 4 bedroom house on rural property, ideal for a retreat and relaxation. The house sleeps 10: X3 double rooms X 1 bunk room Set in 360 acres with incredible views of the Goulburn River and panoramic views of the Strathbogie Ranges. There are extensive lawn areas, a fully fenced swimming pool, plus a BBQ and outdoor furniture. Due to previous negative experiences, we do not allow any parties nor any illegal drug taking. The property has monitored CCTV. Location An easy 75-90 minute drive, north on the Hume Highway from Melbourne. Located on Northwood Road between Seymour and Mitchelton. Also just a 15 minute drive from Lake Nagambie and township, and 10 minutes from Tabilk and Mitchelton wineries. Shopping centres, grocery stores, pharmacies and medical centres are located 15 minutes away in Nagambie and Seymour. The house: Open plan house has 4 bed rooms and 3 bathrooms which sleeps 10 people, king size bed in the master bedroom complete with ensuite. The other two bedrooms have queen size beds adjacent to the main bathroom, and the final room has two bunk beds (four singles) with an ensuite. All rooms have doonas, pillows and linen (including towels) provided. Open plan living area leading into spacious modern kitchen and dining area, fully equipped with double fridge/freezer, microwave, large oven/hot plates and dishwasher. Dining table that seats eight, plus an island kitchen bench that seats five. There is an open fire place and a Coonara wood heater, plus electric heater panels and three split system air conditioners. Four widescreen TVs and wireless internet are available for your enjoyment. Laundry facilities, including washing machine, dryer and outside clothesline, are available. There is an iron, ironing board and hair dryer at the house. The entire house will be open to guests and key pick up will be arranged when booking is confirmed. Guests are welcome to use the house, pool and gardens with views of the Goulburn River. You will be staying in the country with kangaroos and need to appreciate you will be sharing your space with wild animals. Kangaroos are cute, but they must not be cornered or touched – they will attack if threatened. Snakes, while not prevalent, are around and you must respect their space during summer periods. Carefully monitoring and supervision of children is critical. Please read the information notices in the house and kitchen. Bottled water or water in containers is provided upon arrival, as the tap water is not drinking water. If you wish to consume only bottled water, please bring your own supply. House rules: No pets, no smoking inside, no outside fires. Strictly No Admittance to shedding areas for safety reasons. Please leave farm gates as you found them. We want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and that includes providing a quality dwelling with all the furniture and fittings required. Please respect our home and leave it clean and tidy when you leave. Rubbish bins are provided for your use. You must notify us of any accidental damage or breakages immediately. Off-road motorbikes, quads and unregistered cars are not to be brought onto the property. We must be notified of any outside/unregistered visitors.
