Visitors have free access to explore and hike in the ranches acres which includes the small mountain called Gásafelli and a 1 mile walk to a second farm house called Nevið. With a 5 minute drive you can visit the neighbour town, Runavík. In Runavík there are various cafes, shops, resturants, a pharmacy and a lot of others accessibilities. And now due to the new Seasub tunnel that opened in december 2020 from island Eysturoy to island Streymoy, Rituvik is only 15 minutes from the capital Thorhavn. It is highly recommended to have a car while staying in the Faroe Islands. Visitors can take the local transport bus (442), who drives twice a day.
