EnjoyTasmania's best craft booze & food experiences then rest up in simple comfort, right up-stairs from the TAPHOUSE! Our Beers are brewed off grid from Mole Creek Rain & the Finest Ingredients. The TAPHOUSE kitchen offers house made, locally sourced, internationally inspired cuisine with a rolling menu focused on freshness & variety. ALL OUR PRODUCTS ARE SMALL BATCH & TASSIE MADE! The Little Throne Room offers views out to Western Bluff on the Great Western Tiers, a queen bedroom & a spacious bathroom with shower. As with all our rooms, the bed is cosy & crisp. All guests have access to shared lounge, tea & coffee making facilities and garden surrounds. A light breakfast is included in our base price. MESSAGE US to enquire about our Deluxe local produce breakfast upgrade or Breakfast To Go packs. Guests have free Wifi, access to shared lounge with movie screen/chromecast, tea & coffee facilities and garden surrounds. Guests have access to the gardens & creek where you can spot trout & platypus. The 'Shannon Rise' breakfast room & 'Rowallen' common lounge are also available to make tea & coffee or to, relax and maybe watch a movie on the big screen (please respect other guest and COVID guide lines & tidy up after your self). During opening hours, the Wandering Trout Taphouse is also just down stairs for our awesome Wandering Trout beers & delicious food. While the doors are open, the kitchen is serving While the Taphouse is open, staff will be on hand to help but other wise your stay will be self managed and we have a self checkout where you can leave your key in the room door. Mole Creek is a Rural Community with a history of farming & forestry & over 100 years of Tourism. Stunning views of the Great Western Tiers are a feature of the area, as are many great outdoor activities such as caving, bushwalking & world renown trout angling. Watching the light change over the Tiers can be mesmerising late in the afternoon. Sunrises and sunsets can be truly spectacular and if you get your timing right, the Aurora Australis can be viewed over the tiers at night. You will need your own transport, either a vehicle or a bicycle. A bus runs between Deloraine & Launceston. - Outdoor smoking is allowed in designated areas. - Sorry, no pets. Breakfast upgrades can be ordered by sending a message to us on AirBnb or contacting the Taphouse directly (must be ordered 7 days prior to arrival to guarantee availability).
