'Little Stones' - a lovely traditional cosy cottage, perfect for a short relaxing break. Plenty of space to relax,play or explore our lovely unspoilt area of France. Within easy reach of Puy du Fou,Futuroscope,the Marais Poitevin, Parthenay,Vouvant and Niort. Les Petites Pierres is a cosy , charming 18th Century cottage with a comfortable lounge/diner with original oak beams, a solid oak fire surround and a woodburner for early/late season stays.There is a TV ( English Satellite only) ,Video/DVD player ,CD player and a selection of DVDs, books and games. The well-equipped kitchen contains the Gas Cooker, Fridge-Freezer, Microwave and Washing Machine. The downstairs shower room and toilet has a shaver point and heated towel rail. Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin, which have original oak beams and views over to the woods at the front. Stairgate at top of stairs. There is a private patio with table and chairs for sitting or dining at the front of the Gite , and a private garden across the chemin, with a table,chairs and BBQ. Both are ideal for relaxing and enjoying the woodland views , with perhaps a glimpse of our Wildlife, whilst enjoying a glass of wine. Continental breakfast will be available in the gite - including some of our own delicious Hens' eggs. The shared secure outside Pool and decking area is open between May and October. The Games field is available all year round. Lots of space to relax or play. There are 2 further Gites at Les Gycines Gites. Your accommodation is fully self-contained. We live in another property on site, so are available for any information or help required. Set in a tranquil wooded valley and yet we are only 5kms from the small town of l'Absie, which has all amenities. We have 3 adult bikes that can be borrowed to explore the lovely surrounding countryside. There are many walks right on our doorstep - we have lots of maps and guides. A Car is essential here but the roads are really quiet. Our nearest TGV station is Niort. We can supply, free of charge, a child's cot and bedding,potty,baby bath and changing mat and a high chair. For the Pool area we have a paddling pool available.The shared Pool is fully secure, maintained and checked by ourselves and open from May - October ( 10am - 8pm). For short stay Bookings Continental Breakfast is available at 4€ per person per day. For bookings of 7+ nights there is a substantial discount and a free 'Welcome Pack'.
