The area sits on the edge of Edinburgh just off the bypass which has a direct route to the airport. The 31 bus which goes the opposite way to town will take you to smaller towns of interest with local shops. The house is situated on the edge of the housing estate and has views to the Penland hills on the upper level. A two minute walk from the house (cross the main road to town) to a bus stop which has a digital time display giving info when next bus due. The frequency of buses are every 10 minutes, less frequent on a sunday. Parking outside house ok. There is a night bus service (31).
