Harry's Place - a rural retreat

Harry's Place is a light, airy, fully self-contained apartment. It has all you need for a relaxing break or a working base and is a quiet space that gives an opportunity to retreat from today's hectic pace of life. Located in the very centre of Norfolk, less than 3 miles from shops in Dereham, but tucked away on a quiet lane, Harry's Place is an ideal base for exploring all that the county has to offer - wonderful beaches, the Broads, Norwich and King's Lynn. Located adjacent to our house, we are on hand if needed. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans; tea, milk, fresh and instant coffee are provided. There is secure space for bikes if required and an outside table and chairs are available for your use. Wifi is available but, situated in such a rural spot, speeds aren't high enough to stream. However, we have fitted a Chromecast so media can be downloaded onto a portable device and viewed on the TV. Bob and I are very close by and a knock on the door (or a call on the mobile if we're not in) will get you help or advice on anything you need and suggestions as to places you might wish to visit. We like to greet our guests on arrival if possible. We are fortunate to live in a brilliant location, close to the amenities that Dereham has to offer, but with the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. You may see (or hear) our neighbours' horses, deer, owls and birds, including some very dopey pheasants. Care needs to be taken when driving along the lane, which is used by walkers with their dogs, and horse-riders. We are not far from the Mid-Norfolk Railway, which is a heritage line running to and from the lovely market town of Wymondham. Norwich is 25 minutes away.
