The Copper Pot Campsite Bell Tent

A bit glamping, a bit wild camping. Lots of nature, lots of flowers and beautiful views. We offer a large 6m x 6m canvas bell tent with a kingsize bed and 2 single beds - more beds can be provided for a small extra charge(max 10 people). All linen, blankets are provided apart from towels, tea/coffee in the campsite kitchen. Facilities include a 4 ring gas hob in the kitchen and 2 wood burning bbqs next to 2 large fire pits. Wood is available on site for a small fee,Hot showers & Compost loos. It's a beautiful place in the Tamar valley in east Cornwall. We provide a spacious, comfortable, warm canvas tent, where you can base yourself whilst touring the area. We've built a breakfast bar in the kitchen, where you can sit and watch the birds eat from our many feeders and also view nesting boxes. You can se deer, slow worms, common lizards, birds of prey, badgers at night...We allow fires in specific areas and have wood burning bbqs - we provide wood on site at a very reasonable cost per basket. We're only 50 mins from the eden project and similarly distanced to some great beaches, 20 mins from Plymouth, 60 mins from Exeter and just on the door step of Dartmoor. I'll always be around, gardening or checking the animals or vegetables. We have the national trust house Cotehele a mere 20 minute or a couple of minutes drive from the site, they have a wonderful place to eat at cotehele quay on the banks of the river Tamar.
