This spacious detached house is situated within easy walking distance from all the facilities of the picturesque village of Roquecor but is far enough to be tranquil and not overlooked. The beautiful house, mature landscaped garden and inviting pool have stunning views to the open countryside and are for your own private use, it is not shared with other guests. Please note that the pool is only available 1st June - 30th September Only English TV channels available on the premises Roquecor is a beautiful medieval hilltop village which still retains some of the original buildings dating back to the twelfth century. Directly below the village, lie several prehistoric caves, which were once inhabited by troglodytes. There are numerous walks, many of which are from the village and offer the best opportunity to appreciate the superb views and wildlife, including wild boar and the local deer. Roquecor has won many awards for its floral displays and boasts a popular Sunday market where Regions specialities and fresh local produce can be purchased and can be cooked with the barbecue on the terrace overlooking the pool and stunning countryside. The pool is 10 metres x 5 metres with Roman steps and is 1 metre at the shallow end to 2 metres at the deep end. There is a local grocery store where fresh bread and pastries can be ordered, also a hairdresser, beauty salon, savonnerie which sells handmade natural soaps and creams, a bar restaurant which offers delicious regional cuisine and live music every Sunday lunchtime in summer and traditional French restaurant the Tête d’Ail are all within walking distance. The entire house, garden and pool is for your own personal use and is not shared There is a dedicated member of the team who will be available at your request to ensure that your holiday is trouble free. Roquecor is conveniently situated and within a short drive for all the major tourist attractions such as chateaux, theme parks, caves, lakes with sandy beaches, fishing etc... perfect for families with children of all ages This region is famed for it’s beautiful scenic walks and historical sites but because of its locality there are no buses or taxis service so a car is a must. This is the reason why we offer a pick up and drop off service to and from the airport and sightseeing trips for your convenience, ideal for guests who prefer not to drive.
