Lomond View at Lomond Castle provides guests with a luxury experience of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs without breaking the bank. The two bedroom self-contained flat lies within a renovated Scottish baronial castle on the banks of Loch Lomond, combining history and tradition with modern style and comfort. Our location is unparalleled, with 6 acres of gated castle grounds, a private beach and jetty, and unlimited views of the loch from our expansive outdoor entertainment area. The MAIN LIVING AREA is a stunning space to both relax and socialise. Featuring original castle cornicing and a stunning central rose, the room has a traditional feel with modern Scandi-Scot decor. Our favourite feature of the flat must be the french doors and bay window area which opens out onto the expansive patio, thus providing beautiful light and panoramic views of the loch from the entire living space. Guests can stretch out on the chaise to unwind and admire the vista, or snuggle up on the sofa to view the 43 inch mounted TV complete with Sky package and DVD player. The main dining table can seat six comfortably, and the open plan layout will enhance the social experience of the stay. The luxurious superking size sleigh bed in our MASTER BEDROOM ensures guests will be rested and refreshed, whilst enjoying 400 thread count sheets and sateen-woven cotton bedlinen alongside fluffy terry cotton robes for an opulent 'hotel' feel. The flexible SECOND BEDROOM can be set up as either a twin bedroom (featuring two full size single beds) or a double room (with fantastically comfortable super kingsize bed) - just let us know your requirements when booking and we will accommodate your needs. Quirky features and Egyptian cotton sheets are used throughout to enhance the luxury experience for guests enjoying this room. The flat can sleep up to 6 adults, as the sofa and chaise in the living area can easily convert into a roomy double bed. Soft terry cotton sheets ensure the 'sofa bed sleepers' don't miss out on a great night's rest (plus the view from the bed through the french doors in the morning is special in itself!) The contemporary KITCHEN features all modern amenities, including a dishwasher, washing machine, convection hob and electric fan oven, microwave and oversized fridge freezer. Enjoy great coffee in the morning from our Nespresso machine or a comforting cuppa from the drinks station, whilst viewing the sun rise over the loch. In the evening, chill your wine and bubbles in our stylish fitted wine cooler. Guests can enjoy a holiday tipple from our extensive glassware and entertaining supplies, whilst the cooking and dining equipment anticipates guests every need, having all the necessary tools to cook up a Scottish feast fit for a a hungry family! The BATHROOM features a sunken bath and rain shower, with modern fittings, full length mirror and luxury towels to enhance the relaxing nature of your stay. Through the french doors from the main living space, the PATIO AREA is an absolute delight and allows stunning views of the loch and mountains. Everyone will enjoy spending time in this special outdoor space - the views are simply to die for! Take in the evening sun relaxing in our rattan dining set for 6, or cook up a holiday BBQ after a busy day in the Trossachs. As parents ourselves, the little ones have been thought of too - please just request our BABY PACK on booking. Featuring travel cot, bath seat, plug safety covers, door safety stoppers, play mat, changing mat and highchair and sip cups. There are outdoor toys (and some wee wellies!) in our outdoor box, and for meal times, we have kid-friendly kitchen equipment (plates, bowls, cups and cutlery), a wipeable table cloth and a highchair all provided too. Kids big and small will also enjoy some of the outdoor toys in our outdoor store. The stunning private BEACH is our favourite place to venture out and enjoy views of majestic Ben Lomond. Guests are welcome to use our BEACH PACK throughout their stay, with camping chairs, blankets, cool bag, flask, lamp, outdoor glasses and a tartan rug for good measure! Parking is extremely convenient - the grounds are gated and as such only accessible by guests and residents of Lomond Castle. As such, there is plenty of parking on site. Guests will require a fob to access the main gates - details will be given prior to check in. Please contact us if there are any issues, as we have a support team in the area.
