The Tragopan Aerie

The house has a traditional Himachali and European architecture with floor, walls and ceilings of deodar and the roof of Slate rock. It was built about 25years ago and now has been refurbished to bring you the taste of Himachali culture and the comfort. The Tragopan Aerie is surrounded by thick deodar trees on two sides and an apple orchard on one side. Here we have a garden which separates the rooms and the dining area. . The house has three rooms with attached bathrooms, all the three rooms open into a gallery with large windows. The gallery is designed for all the gossips, chill time and relax with bean bags exclusively for the in-house guests. The door of the gallery opens to a garden offering you the breathtaking views of sunrise over the mountains and a observatory for star gazing in the night. The garden has arrangements for outdoor dinning, relaxing under the sun or night sky , and a bonfire to enjoy a barbecue or for unwinding with other guests. We have a cosy dine-in cafe open to all with a Bukhari to give all the comfort of fire and very comfortable mattresses and large cushions. Guest can sit and relax in loby,lawn or in our cozy dining/cafe. Guests can directly make a call or send us a message on (Hidden by Airbnb) or (Hidden by Airbnb) . Bahu village is located on top of the ridge from where you can see sun rise and sunset both. one side of the ridge there is a great panoramic view of Great Himalayan national park and other side of the ridge we can see beautiful sunset at evening. there is a waterboy and a temple which is only 5 mins. away from property. bahu has a good Habitat for himalayan birds so you can enjoy birdwatching around and the pond is perfect place to gaze the night sky. Guest can reach bahu by car, taxi public transport or share taxi. We do organize versatile guided activities like Birdwatching, stargazing, Hiking,Day Excursions, Camping. extra charges for the activities will be applicable.
