A recently converted bright, airy and spacious loft comprising of a very large fully furnished bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, toilet, wash-basin and wall cabinet. The bedroom is fully furnished with a double bed, double wardrobe, dressing table with mirror, large arm chair and bedside cabinets with lamps. There is plenty of room for additional sleeping space, if required for children/an extra guest, please ask. The space allows privacy with its own staircase to the loft. The loft has two Velux windows with black out blinds and a double dormer window with curtains. There is also a small study room next to the bedroom with a desk which you can use if you need to work. Amenities The bedroom is equipped with the following: •Iron and ironing board •Hair dryer •A kettle and complimentary coffee and selection of teas •WiFi Breakfast A breakfast consisting of pastries, toast, fruit, yoghurt and cereal is included in the price. We can provide a vegan breakfast on request. You have access to our kitchen and dining area. We are very accommodating and love meeting our Airbnb guests. If we are at home and you feel like it, we can spend time together over a meal or drink. If we are not home, feel welcome to use the shared spaces as you wish. We know the city and surrounding areas very well and are happy to provide travel information and suggestions for things to do, places to go and eat, etc. The property is very well located for your stay in Manchester. If you are attending cricket matches, concerts or events at Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester United’s Old Trafford Football Stadium or Victoria Warehouse, these are a 15 minute walk (Cricket Ground and Victoria Warehouse), 20-25 minute walk (Football stadium), or short (5 minutes) taxi ride. Salford Quays, where the Lowry Art Gallery and Theatre, the BBC and Media City are located is only 2 miles away – approximately 10 minutes by car/taxi or accessible via the Metro system. The lively neighbourhoods of south Manchester, Chorlton and Didsbury, are accessible by the Metro. Chorlton is also only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus or taxi ride away. These areas are well known for their wide selection of places to eat and drink, as well as independent shops. On our doorstep is a large local park with children’s playgrounds. A couple of local shops (newsagents, greengrocers/grocers) are one minute away. Supermarkets are a 5-10 minute drive away. The house is situated close (8 min walk away) to Manchester’s extensive Metro system. The closest stop is Trafford Bar. From here it is only two stops to the city centre stop Deansgate/Castlefield where you can access the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), the historic Castlefield area, Bridgewater Hall and the lively Deansgate and Spinningfields areas, with a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Two stops after Deansgate/Castlefield, you arrive in the Market Street and Piccadilly Gardens area where you can walk to a full range of high street shops or the famous Northern Quarter for more independent retailers and bars. The Trafford Bar stop also has direct trams to/from Piccadilly train station and Manchester Airport. The city centre is only 2.5 miles away and is also easily accessible by bus. There is a bus stop at the end of the road where the number 15 bus takes you into the city centre, passing through the heart of the university areas. The bus passes the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester Business School and the Royal Northern College of Music. This is a vegetarian house, meat products are fine, but we do not cook meat in our home so do not expect sausage and bacon for breakfast!
