The Dingle, Llansteffan - A Home Away From Home

Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Llansteffan, this grand old house is equipped with everything you need. The house is situated on a main road in a quiet residential area, just 2 minutes’ easy walk to the beach and local amenities. Llansteffan is an ideal base for exploring the many and varied attractions that West Wales has to offer. If you are looking to get away from it all to relax and unwind, this is the place for you. This traditionally furnished home offers spacious and comfortable accommodation for the more discerning guest. There is a large lawn to the front and a large private patio to the back, in addition to off-road parking for 2-3 cars on a gated driveway. There are 4 beds between 6 guests, plus a folding guest bed. Access to the whole house and grounds. Self check-in. Joy is available by email, phone or text to answer any queries. The house is situated on the main road leading to the sandy beach which is just a couple of minutes’ walk away. The picturesque village of Llansteffan boasts a Norman castle, coastal path, two restaurants, a church and chapel, two pubs and an art and crafts centre. Further afield, West Wales is brimming with many and varied tourist attractions for all ages. Llansteffan is just 20 minutes from the M4 and 4 miles (cross country) to the main dual carriageway to West Wales. The nearest train station is in Carmarthen, as well as taxi services. All amenities in the village are within easy walking distance. There is a bus service to Carmarthen, the nearest town, where you will find supermarkets and shops, restaurants and bars, a cinema and bowling alley, and an indoor market. There is also a tourist information centre in the grounds of the old castle. The nearest A& E department is in Glangwili hospital just outside the town. Bed linen, pillows and towels are provided, also toilet rolls, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar, salt. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but only one per stay, and they are not allowed upstairs. Seasonal restrictions apply to dogs on the beach. Due to the coronavirus pandemic extra steps are being taken to clean and sanitize frequently-touched surfaces between each stay.
