Completely renovated bathroom as of October 27th, 2021- brand new floor, shower, sink, and vanity! In response to recent feedback, we have updated the shower and stabilized the water pressure and temperature. Aesthetic and practical- this is a second floor studio apartment, including a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, and microwave, a bathroom with shower and bath, and a comfy living space complete with one queen bed, a TV with streaming options, and a cozy couch. We also welcome all pets, preferably 2 max. Please note: there are 15 stairs leading up to the apartment. Guests with mobility issues are welcome, but are encouraged to account for the stairs. You have full access to the private apartment from a reserved parking spot behind the house. Once you enter the covered stairway leading to the apartment’s entrance, the space is entirely private. I live only a minute away, and I’m open to any questions you might have. If I’m unavailable, Bernie is my co-host and will gladly help you out! This space boasts the greatest location Ypsilanti has to offer- literally one block from downtown, a short walk from EMU’s lovely campus, and under a mile from the legendary restaurants and bars of Depot Town. Exploring the city of Ypsilanti from this space can easily be done on foot, but if you have a car, you’re in the most accessible location in southeastern Michigan. Hop on I-94 west to reach Ann Arbor in 15 minutes. Head east, and you’ll be at Detroit Metro Airport in 15 minutes flat. Downtown Detroit is also under 45 minutes by expressway. Finally, just two blocks away is the Ypsilanti Transit Center. The bus routes will take you most anywhere in the county, including downtown Ann Arbor. You will have to climb a full flight of stairs to access this apartment.
