Wake up in the morning to bird song. This newly renovated space is a little oasis on half an acre of tranquil native bush land and beautiful garden. Watch the native birds from your seperate lounge room in your private home away from home. Perfect for short or long stays complete with fully equipped kitchen. Great restaurants and attractions close by. Art workshops available. Breakfast provided. Fully vaccinated guests only. This is a very quiet street, 15 min walk to public transport, bus and train. Situated in the mid mountains between, Katoomba, Leura and Glenbrook. It is ideal for couples or long term stays. Private access via rear deck. You are welcome to have a BBQ at the fire pit (depending on fire restrictions) & walk around the garden and bush. There is an artist studio that can be accessed by appointment . I have a fully equipped artist studio so if you would like to do an art workshop in stamp and printmaking, organise this with me prior to arrival. The cost is $200 for three hours for up to two people. All equipment is supplied. I have been an artist for over 30 years. I am happy to give you advise on great bush walks and local activities. I am situated in the middle of the beautiful world heritage Blue Mountains. There are many amazing lookouts, waterfalls and bush walks close by. A great place for lunch after a bush walk is Conservation hut at Wentworth falls. There are Thai, Indian, and Chinese restaurants within 5-15 min drive and a great Tapas, kebab,pizza and pide shop 5 mins down the road. The train station is a 10 min walk, 2 minute drive. The line travels up the mountains to Lithgow and directly to Sydney which takes 1.5 hours. If you are wanting to explore the mountains but have no car. Catch the train to Katoomba, 15 mins and there is a trolley car that takes you to the major attractions cost $25 per day to hop on and off as much as you like. Jenolan caves is a 1.5 hour drive west. I have two cats Banjo and Clancy but they stay inside the main home and do not have access to the Studio.
