Monterey by The Heads

Enjoy a restful break at Monterey By the Heads in Point Lonsdale. This comfortable light-filled home is just the place to relax, with two separate living areas, each with large screen TV (40in) and DVD player, ceiling fans and reverse cycle air conditioning/heating. The living areas have vaulted ceilings, an L-shaped leather lounge and three more comfortable couches where you can watch TV or read at leisure - this is the perfect place to chill out. The large low table is great for board games or jigsaws and the back yard is securely fenced for children to play. The house has a new kitchen with induction cooktop, new saucepans, electric oven, microwave, crockery, glasses and cutlery for 10+ people. Bed linen, bath towels, bath mats and tea towels are provided. Guests will need to provide their own beach towels. The four bedrooms are configured as follows: Master Bedroom - one queen size bed; Second Bedroom - one queen size bed; Third Bedroom - two single beds and the fourth with one single bed. There is an ensuite bathroom off the master bedroom, another bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet. Local activities include: - taking a 10 minute stroll to the front beach and a further 10 minutes along the boardwalk to the local shops and cafes with great views of Port Phillip Heads where ships regularly pass through: - a visit to the children's playground opposite the shops; - walking to the Point Lonsdale lighthouse (entry available on Sunday mornings), walk out to the end of the jetty or meander around the point at low tide across the exposed rocks to reach the picturesque back beach with views to Barwon Heads; - discovering local produce, handcrafts, plants and lots more at the Point Lonsdale Market held on the second Sunday of each month at the local primary school. Use your stay as a base to explore the historic Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff areas and the Bellarine Peninsula or head towards the Surf Coast and the Great Ocean Road through Barwon Heads towards Torquay and Anglesea. Golfers should check out the 13th Beach Golf Course or the local Lonsdale Golf Club. Monterey By the Heads is the perfect holiday home for an enjoyable and relaxing getaway.
