The Keep - The Jesters Court

On the edge of both the Leicestershire and Derbyshire this is a great place to explore the East Midlands. The Keep is an 18th Century cottage, situated on the edge of the original castle moat. The site is an ancient monument site with remains of the medieval castle. The gardens enclosed in the castle moat, harbor a wide variety of British wildlife. We've got 2 garden facing rooms and a moat facing room. If you'd like to hire the whole floor fully catered for up to 6 people, please email us directly. Tell us how much space you need, how many of you there are and we'll do our best to find a space that you can call home. Pick a bedroom of your choice, to be a King, Queen, Prince or Princess for a day, a week or as long as you like. The bedrooms are furnished and decorated to a high standard, have feature trusses, and beautiful rococo furnishings. The bathroom is very spacious, light and shared with The Queens Tower room. There is a TV with SKY. The kitchen located on the ground floor is accessible 24/7. You are welcome to use the gardens/outdoor space during your stay at The Keep. We live on site and will be there to meet you upon arrival. Our stunning cottage is located five minutes from M1 junction 24 and just 1 mile from the A50 dual carriageway. Easy access to East Midlands Airport (3 miles), East Midland Parkway (6 miles) and Donington Race Circuit (1 mile). Breakfast included with the stay: homemade organic granola OR freshly baked croissant with homemade jam, all served with a choice of tea, coffee or juice.
