"Casa do Sino" is a very beautiful villa located in the center of Portugal. The Villa dated from 1913, in a Nouveu Art construction and was meticulously remodelated in recent years to fit the most demanding customers without loosing its grace. It features 5 bedrooms, indoor swimming pool, garden with barbecue facilities, ping pong table and darts. The village is very near from main cities such as Aveiro (14km) and Porto (50km). The house has private garage and free WI-FI access. Centennial House with 5 bedrooms The "House of the Bell" is a century-old building, constructed in the year 1913, a golden era of national and world history dubbed "Belle Epoque" Recently - in a coordinated effort by the architect. Gustavo Barros - we made a careful recovery of this century-old house, respecting their traces and keeping intact its interior layout. There was also a concern, without compromising the built architectural heritage, provide the property of the current standards of comfort. At this point, we believe have achieved an excellent compromise between heritage preservation and the convenience of use. Also the decoration of the "House of the Bell" deserved our special attention, a work that received technical support from Arq.ª Marta Peixoto. In this context, there was particular concern about the integrity of the whole, a selection of period pieces with design, but also with historical burden. Examples are: the bedside tables "peniqueiras" of the 20s; the various wall clocks of Good Regulatory famalicence brand, one of which produced in the year of construction of the "Bell Home" (1913), the year in which they were produced only 6 408 units; one cutlery of Guimarães Cutipol brand, model 'Belle Epoque'; several pieces of furniture in rosewood, Scandinavian design, dating from the 50's and 60's transato century, of which highlights the set of table and chairs the Danish author Kai Kristiansen. The guests will have access to the whole house with their all facilities. The villa is surrounded with all the amenities required for a pleasant stay. The nearest restaurant is in 2,5 km of distance and main grocery stores such as Pingo Doce (equivalent to Tesco) is at 5 km of distance. There are 2 shopping centers at 14 km of distance (Forum Aveiro and Glicinias). Besides this, the center of Portugal has many attractions and sight seeing very near. There is the big coast line nearby (Torreira beach, Barra Beach, Sao Jacinto Beach), there is the National park Ria de Aveiro, very famous for birdwatching and trekking in the nature, there is Coimbra, Arouca and many other cities to visit. Our region is also very famous for our traditional cuisine, with many fish dishes (caldeiradas), seafood and “ leitão“ ( roasted piglet with herbs ). The village of Salreu is very near from main cities such as Aveiro (14km), Vila Nova de Gaia (46km) and Porto (50km). The house has good access by car or by train. The train station is 2 km far away from the house.
