ROOF ROOMS - Room Nr. 3 * Cool&Cosy* City center

ROOF ROOMS, tourist facility with 6 rooms, is located in historical house built in 1890 in city center of Maribor. Just few steps from Main Square (Glavni trg) and Lent, the most magical part of Maribor with oldest grapevine in the world. Place is newly renovated, but retains its historical charm, where you will feel homey and cozy. ROOF ROOMS Unit Nr. 3 is a cute room, where you have to climb the ladder to get to bed, equipped with air condition, TV, WiFi, mini fridge and a private bathroom. Room includes a bed (140x200) under the ceiling, what makes this room unique and cool! You have to climb the ladder to get to bed. ;) Room has also a sofa with extendable bed. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided. We provide fresh towels every 5th day of staying, bed linen every 10th day of staying. The rooms are located on the 2nd floor, without elevator. ROOF ROOMS have a shared kitchen and spacious dining room, where you can have some snack, cook a dinner or hang out with other guests in the lounge area. Kitchen is equipped with all the essentials you need - a cooking stove, fridge, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and other basic equipment and ingredients necessary for cooking or storing your food. We have 6 guest rooms in total so you can expect other guests staying at the same time as you. We want to provide nice and lovely stay for all our guests so please notice that Roof Rooms have some simple rules: no smoking, no pets, no parties after 10pm, no guests other than on original booking. Check-in is available after 3pm/15:00, check-out at 10am/10:00. If you arrive earlier than 15.00 or leave later than 10.00, you can leave your luggage in the lounge area. Roof Rooms are managed by me and my family, we love to meet new people and tourists all over the World, so we will be happy to meet you in person upon arrival. At Roof Rooms there is no reception, but we are always available for you via phone, email, Whatsup or Viber. We speak English, German, Croatian. We can recommend you what to do and what to see in Maribor, where to eat, best sights, events etc. :) The place is easily accessible by one of the several public bus lines (bus stop Kneza Koclja-Vetrinjska and Glavni trg-Vetrinjska) or taxi. PARKING Our place doesn’t have parking space because we are in city center, but public parking is available all around the neighbourhood - FREE during nights and weekends. During the day price is 0,8€/hour (from 8am - 7pm). Some parking house are also nearby. All guests must provide a valid ID or PASSPORT at check-in due to country's regulations. TOURIST TAX: There is a law in Slovenia that host is responsible for informing local police station about every tourist that sleeps in any place in Slovenia. That is why we will photograph your IDs upon your arrival. We'll also pay tourist tax for you which is now already included in the price of your staying and is currently 2,5 EUR/ per person/per night. You see it as “occupancy fee and taxes” when you book.
