The property is located a few minutes walk from The Ship Inn, which over looks the harbour and beach. Smoking is not permitted within the property. We expect all guests to respect the property and neighbours. The property has parking for 2 cars. Guest have full access to the whole house. Elie is well known for its iconic harbour and a wide variety of specialist shops and restaurants including The Ship Inn. The following places we recommend you visit in the local area such as St Andrews Farmhouse Cheese Company, Ardross Farm Shop, Bowhouse Farmers Market, Wilsons Fish Market, Kingsbarn Distillery and Eden Mill Gin Distillery. Within a 10 minutes drive, you have the picturesque villages, including, Earlsferry, Anstruther, Pittenweem, St Monans, Crail and Kingsbarns. St Andrews is home to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the famous Old Course, it’s known worldwide as "the home of golf”. St Andrews has seven world-class links courses and others in the area include The Dukes, Kingsbarns and Fairmont St Andrews. We also recommend you attend the StAnza which is Scotlands International Poetry Festival which is held in St Andrews every March. All the shops and restaurants in Elie are within walking distance. St Andrews, The Old Course and many pubs, cafes and restaurants are a 25 minute drive from the property. The bus routes are a short walk away and easy to use. Leuchars train station is a 30 minute drive away, with connections to Edinburgh, London and Aberdeen.
