T.E.S. Cottage is available for weekly rental on a pristine lake in the Winthrop Lakes Region of Maine. Enjoy a natural sandy beach in a private cove on Cobbossee Lake, a nine-mile long lake spanning East Winthrop, Monmouth, Manchester and Augusta. The cottage and beach face south, so the winds and breezes off the lake in July and August are warm and seem almost tropical. The cottage is very comfortable with many modern conveniences, including free WiFi and cable TV, but still retains that "Maine camp" feel. It sleeps four easily and is just steps from the lake. The sandy beach allows for easy walking through the shallows into deeper water for jumping off the float and swimming. The quiet cove provides privacy and safety for children and adults who do not want a steep drop-off. A fire pit is included for toasting marshmallows at night under the gaze of the stars above, and being serenaded by the evening loons as they pass by the front of the cottage. This is the perfect rental if you want to enjoy swimming in clear, clean water, jumping off the float in the cove, napping in the sun, or simply sitting and reading a book in the shaded chairs or hammock overlooking the water.
