Flat C View. For sand, sea, slate and fire.
Flat C View is a creative, coastal enclave in the pretty seaside town of Rhos on Sea. Nestled amongst North Wales’ castles, coastlines and crags, this unique top floor apartment is a relaxed and free spirited home which is just as rooted in the landscape as it is in artistic sensibility and sustainability. @flatcview you will find a happy family of furniture, foliage and fittings that have been collected over the years. They are - almost without exception- secondhand or salvaged. This is a perfectly imperfect, cosy space that invites you to sit back and relax, after a day of rock climbing, cycling, hiking and more, where you can indulge in the landscape and embrace the elements, even when the Welsh weather won’t encourage you to. Wake up in a king size canopy bed with a panoramic seascape at your feet; savour the sweeping shoreline as you snuggle in the living space; feast upon views of a verdant nature reserve from the kitchen table; soak up the sky as you recline in the reclaimed bathtub, or simply free your mind and unwind as you fire gaze by the wood burning stoves for a while. Additional information: I have tried to create a comfortable yet conscious home from home for you. At Flat C View you will find: - Custom elements that have been constructed from natural, locally sourced and sustainable materials where possible - Towels and bedding that are either ethically sourced organic cotton or select secondhand - LED lights throughout - Firewood that has been salvaged from local timber merchants when possible, to fuel the stoves In the bathroom: - Optional shower timer to help reduce water consumption - An environmentally and socially conscious 1920s toilet.
