Private studio ~south of New Malden, southwest London. Located in a quiet garden with its own access, this comfortable studio is 3 min walk to Malden Manor station where trains to London Waterloo take 25 mins, and take only 10 mins to Wimbledon, also close to Kingston upon Thames. Free street parking, breakfast items provided, wall mounted TV with Apple TV and Netflix. Heater, unlimited hot water. Covid cleaning protocols, wipes and gel provided. - self-contained stylish detached garden studio - committed to enhanced Covid 19 cleaning protocol endorsed by Airbnb - completely private, decorated in tasteful neutral tones, blinds at all windows (black-out in bedroom area) - very comfortable bed with fresh linens and towels, throws for added warmth, duvet and pillows - wall mounted TV with main channels and NEW from June 2021 Apple TV with Netflix guest login - high speed WiFi in studio and reaching into the garden - shower with waterfall head, very good water pressure - unrestricted hot water - heated towel rail, basin with illuminating mirror - oil filled heater can be set on timer so the studio is cosy in the mornings and evenings - kitchen area with fridge and breakfast essentials - milk, bread, tea, coffee, sugar, jams, marmite, butter, a choice of cereals, all complimentary - waters and drinks in the fridge - kettle, toaster and microwave - bowls, plates, glasses, mugs and cutlery - shampoo, conditioner, soap, antiseptic hand gel, antibacterial wipes and shower gel all complimentary - towels and shower mat - toothpaste - in case you forget yours please help yourself! Ideal for anyone looking for comfortable private accommodation at a great price - we are only half an hour into London - see all the sights with ease - London Eye, Palace of Westminster only half an hour away! - if you are commuters or people working around the area or in London - we are very close to the A3 and 15 mins from the M25. Please book for yourselves only, we will not accept third party guests that we do not know anything about. If you are booking as an Airbnb guest we expect it to be you and your partner/ friend, if relevant, when you check in. Our train station is Malden Manor on the Chessington South line from London Waterloo. The train usually leaves from the platforms 1 -4 When enquiring, please let us know you are vaccinated against Covid 19 Guests can access the studio through the side gate, therefore you can come and go as you please. You will be able to have complete privacy, lock the studio and have keys to the studio and the gate to the garden. Please note there is one step down onto the decking and two steps up into the studio. Please keep the gate locked when you are in overnight and when you leave for the day. We live in the adjacent house and will be very happy to help you if you need anything, and to help with any queries you may have while you are here. We will respect your privacy and leave you enjoy your space, but please feel free to contact us by knocking on the door or phoning / messaging Anne. We know the local area well and can recommend restaurants and how to get to all the locations around here - the journey to London is very easy on the train and you can also go to Kingston, Hampton Court and Richmond Park very easily. The neighbourhood is residential and quiet, but with shops and restaurants nearby. Malden Manor station is 3 minutes walk away, with shops and restaurants nearby; Worcester Park is a 20 minute walk, or you can jump on the 213 bus which can take you into Kingston where there are great restaurants, shops and the lovely riverside . The X26 from Worcester Park station is a direct bus to Heathrow Airport. The trains go every half hour to London Waterloo - you can be in London very quickly! There are also lovely local walks, the Hogsmill river is 5 minutes away with great walks to Kingston or Ewell. We are on the ‘London loop’ a walk all around London! Malden Manor station is 3 minutes walk away, through the lane opposite our house and turn right, and provides a direct link to Waterloo in under 30 minutes. The train to Waterloo stops in Wimbledon in 10 minutes. Buses run to Kingston, Surbiton and Sutton regularly, and there are restaurants and shops within walking distance. In your studio you will find a folder with useful train timetables and information. You may like to download a very useful app called ‘Citymapper‘ which will show you all the transport links for your journey. We are well situated for both Heathrow and Gatwick airports, both taking approximately 40 mins by taxi depending on traffic. Or you can get the X26 to Heathrow from Worcester Park station. In the Covid 19 hosting era - We now provide antiseptic hand gel and antibacterial wipes in the bathroom. We also have cleaning spray and cloths in the bathroom. You can let yourselves in when you check in, when we meet we will welcome you, but will not come into the studio while you are there. Please dispose of your rubbish and recycling in our bins, bags will be provided. Please tidy up as much as you can to help us with cleaning, and to keep us all safe. Many thanks.
