A cosy stand-alone flat in a Chalet in the Alps at 15 min drive far from Vevey/Montreux and Geneva Lake, well indicated for sports of all kinds and just 5min drive of the Paccots and next to Ratvel ski resorts. The entire area is nice for walking, biking, hiking, horse riding, thermal bath and eating local specialties. Very quiet and relaxing! IDEAL for a couple or a family with 2 kids under 16 y.o or 1 above. From the back of the chalet, you can jump straight into the forest for trekking or walking with snow-shoes in winter. You will be living in a stand-alone studio located at ground floor, with independent access and own parking. The access is direct and the place receives the sunlight especially in the morning. When snowing, a 4x4 WD car or snow chains are recommended, otherwise a free parking at the foot of the hill is available and from there we kindly pick you up a with our car for the last 300 meters :-) On demand, chauffeur service and Taylor-made activity package suitable for a romantic, sporty or even a gastronomic stay are available. Not too far (35 min drive) is the area where the world’s famous Gruyere cheese is produced as well as Maison Cailler, historical Chocolate factory of Nestlé Company. Les Paccots (10 ski-lifts) and Ratvel (4 ski-lift) are both about 3-4 km car away and are ideal for mountain biking or hiking in Summer and great ski resorts for family and friends in Winter. An ice-skating area is available in Winter Direction Châteu-d'Oex, a visit to the Balthus Chapel brings — through documentary films, photographs and a variety of works — an immersive discovery of the important figurative modernist painter, Henri Balthus. For amateurs of hiking in the nature, there are plenty of itineraries, amongst which one that goes around the famous Moléson mountain. We are about 1h drive or train away from Geneva airport. By car, the high-way exit is only 3 km away from where we stand. Airport or train pick-up can be arranged as well as chauffeur service during the stay. Bed sheets and towels are made available at no extra cost. No cleaning costs are applied ! Jacuzzi package at 100.- CHF : this is a unique cost for using the hot tub during your entire stay, a 24h hours advance notice is required. Beside the cleaning and the refill with fresh water at each new guest's stay, the package includes bath-robes and shoes, but is not suitable for pregnant women.
