High Street House, a recently remodelled and tastefully furnished former B&B in the centre of Westport town boasts a unique charm, with many of the original features and quirks from its 19th century building still intact. Room 2 is a smart and pretty space with modern vibes and an en-suite bathroom set on the ground floor of High Street House. Tasteful and minimalist in its decor, this cosy room offers guests the ultimate in comfort, privacy and a super location. The en-suite is newly appointed and boasts a good shower to ease those aches after a long hike along with all mod cons Nespresso & tea facilities are in the room and the best breakfasts are a hop, skip and a jump down the street. High Street House is in the centre of westport with easy access to on-street parking. The train station is a 15 min walk or you can hop into a taxi for €5 The bus stop is just a 5 min walk. Guests will have their own front door with a key safe to access their rooms. Room 2 is a hidden gem of a place from which to explore the town and surrounding beaches and walks. The best breakfast/lunch and dinner locations are a stone's-throw away and the nightlife of Westport is second to none with live music venues such as Mcgings and the world famous music pub-Matt Molloys pub is two minutes walk away High Street House is a 1 min walk to the centre of Westport and directly next to the Railway walk which takes you to the scenic Quay area. Swimming down at 'the Point' or meandering the coastline are one of your many options. Getting around the area is easy. Bus routes are a-plenty with destinations such as Achill, the Reek or Louisburg and bike hire is very popular.
