A little wildlife oasis - double room.
MINIMUM of 2 nights on a Bank Holiday weekend (FRI-MON). Our 5 bedroom detached home is in a residential area on the outskirts of Paignton, in an off road location making it peaceful at night. 2 guest rooms (double & single) and a guests' bathroom. All rooms are on the ground floor. Breakfast is included. WFI. No children 0-12 yrs. No pets & we have no pets. Smoking allowed outside. My kitchen is for making drinks ONLY due to Covid19. You may put a few items in the fridge. The garden is a little wildlife oasis: regular visitors are hedgehogs, foxes, grey squirrels and pipistrelle bats, while at least 32 species of birds have been recorded. Guests have access to the garden where they can smoke, sit and relax. You can use the dining room at anytime. There is free off-road parking. The double room has a TV. I am available mainly during breakfast hours, but may be around at most other times should you require my assistance. My husband, Dave, is a keen birdwatcher and wildlife enthusiast. He is more than happy to offer advice or answer any questions you might have about this. We are situated 0.5 mile from the world renowned Paignton Zoo, and about a mile from Paignton town centre and sea front. Other nearby beaches include, Goodrington and Broadsands. A steam train runs from Paignton railway station to Kingswear, with links to the chain ferry to Dartmouth. The steam train also stops at Agatha Christie's house, "Greenway." The nationally rare bird, the Cirl Bunting, occurs on several sites locally. A local bus service to Paignton passes close to the house, between approximately 9am - 5pm, with conections to the main bus station and nearby train station. Breakfast consists of cereal, toast and/or croissant. It will usually be served, 07:30-09:00, but there can be flexibility by arrangement. Special dietary requirements can be catered for with advanced notice.
