Casa Canipe'

Stimigliano is a little village overlooked on the Tiber's banks, strategically linked to Rome. It is both a starting point for excursions and trips thanks to its motorway exit (Ponzano R.-Soratte) and train station. The beautiful Sabina countryside is at your fingertips. Casa Canipe' is located in the historical heart of the village, where the citizens still hang clothes out on the thread, women on benches stop you to chat and cobblestones hold out against tarmac. Casa Canipe' is in a nice and quiet alley, where you can enjoy some fresh air thanks to the buildings nearby. A little green corner signals the house entrance, which can host up to six guests. A typical stair will lead you on the first floor where there is a large kitchen with an extendible dining table up to 1.80 metres. High ceilings and a window on the roof enlighten the room all day long. The entire house has got the traditional exposed beams. There are two bedrooms: in the first one (the light blue room) there is a double bed, a wardrobe, TV, internet and an ensuite bathroom with a wide shower and a window. In the second one (the green room) there is a double bed, a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers, TV, internet, an ensuite bathroom with a wide shower and a mezzanine where you can find two single beds. It is possible renting the entire house as well as the double bedroom (green room) or the bedroom for four people (light blue room). Every morning you can enjoy a delicious breakfast of homemade cakes. Guests can access the entire house. Most of time I am in Stimigliano, so I am available for any guests' need. You can access the old town dated XIV century through a wooden bridge. In front of the square there is Palazzo Orsini, while walking along the main street you can reach the town hall square where you can admire the twisting and turning Tiber and the astonishing Monte Soratte. The alleys spreading from the main street preserve the old unchanged charme. The house is 2 km far from Stimigliano train station, with a direct train to Rome (Fiumicino-Roma-Tiburtina-Orte) and 7 km from the A1 motorway exit (Ponzano R.-Soratte).
