Branxholme Castle (East Wing Cottage)

The historic Branxholme Castle which originates back to the 14th century. The Castle is situated in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Over the last 4 years the property has been renovated to a very high standard after being empty for 12 Years. The property now comprises of the Holiday Cottage, bed & breakfast and soon to be completed our "Spa". We also cater for weddings and events, offering extensive grounds, The Orangery, Branxholme Hall, The Library and for larger events The Marquee. The Castle is situated 3 miles south of Hawick. The East Wing Cottage is made up of three double and one large king bedroom, Large kitchen/lounge, snug area, shower room, bathroom and a wee down stairs toilet. Guests will have access to their own garden with private parking, bbq (coal and light fuel to be provided by guests) hot tub and summer house. You can also enjoy the beautiful Scottish countryside with some amazing walks, cycling routes, golf, horse riding and fishing. Within driving distance there are many lovely local towns and villages that offer great places to eat, drink and shop. We are also an events and wedding venue. We can provide our clients with bespoke packages to suite their requirements. We have Branxholme Hall, The library, marquee and the orangery, perfect for weddings etc. We can also provide additional (bed & breakfast )accommodation, bar facilities and catering etc. All information can be found on our website. The cottage is completely private and guest are the only people who have access when staying. WE CAN ARRANGE FOR: Pamper Party's (tailored to you requirements) 1 x Treatment £40 per person and 2 x Treatments £70 per person You can choose from: Facials Massage Pedicure/Shellac Manicure/Shellac Dermaplaining (hair removal and facial) (Treatments would start at 12pm on the day) Also Available: Cocktail Evenings (from £10 per person. (all alcohol to be provided by guests ) We will provide the mixers and the glasses. You can choose up to 4 cocktails which will be demoed, made and give you the chance to have a go! ( TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT PLEASE BOOK WHEN MAKING YOUR RESERVATION WITH US) Our home is situated within the Castle and we will be on hand most of the time to help and guide guest with local facilities etc. Branxholme is situated 3 miles from Hawick on the A7 heading toward Carlisle. Hawick offers a fantastic park with great facilities for children and dog walking. The Teviotdale Leisure Centre provides families with great swimming and a play area. There are plenty off lovely coffee house and restaurants to suit all tastes. The borders comprises of a cluster of towns and villages with lots of history and places to visit. The best way to get around is by car, however the borders offer a good local transport service. WFI Can be slow, this is down to the area we are in. Hopefully this will change in the future. We Have original stone flooring on the ground floor so if you get cold feet, bring your slippers and flip flops for the hot tub area :-) Please bring your own towels to be used when in the "Hot Tub) There is a charge of £1 per game for our pool table in the games room.
