Villa Kayu Yogyakarta located in Kasongan Village, the outside part of Yogyakarta City and the atmosphere is not only quiet and peacefull but also next to a beautiful large rice field, so the village character of this area will be completed by this amazing view. The limasan (Javanese style) houses are build out of teak wood, thats we called it "Villa Kayu" (Wooden Villa) In the neighbourhood sarrounding by home industries of ceramics and craft shops also local and western restaurant. We provide this cottage for a family, the cottage consists 1 bedroom, with 2 beds ( queen size) including bathroom (toilet,shower and sink), shampo,soup,towel,water, mosquitos nest,a lounge corner with 2 relax chairs and a coffee table, tv cabinet, side table,umbrella and a nice terrace with ricefield view. Every cottage is private and in the restaurant there is a nice lounge in the front with a beautiful rice field view. What is interesting from our Homestay is Village life experience. The 3 houses is located at the edge of the large rice field, the open character of our homestay brings you easily in contact with the local people. 15 minutes from our home stay you can find the popular area bar street and restaurants In 20 minutes you can visit Parang Tritis beach, Parang Kusumo beach and other beaches in Bantul. This area Kasongan is well known for handy craft and terracota pottery shops,it is very interesting to visit and go around to the shops and workshop or to the makers. We provide bicycle, our guests can rent for $5/ day to see around the city, or just see around the village. Check in time is flexible please let us know if you want to check in early or very late. We can arrange a cycling tour for our guests to experience the village life in the area of Villa Kayu. Please ask for the possibility. Price is include breakfast (Indonesian or American Breakfast) .
