Beautiful bolt-hole in a former pottery workshop in a character cottage. Self-contained space with own entrance. Kingsized bed, down duvet. Large bathroom, Oak floors, high ceilings, natural light, garden view. Perfect retreat on Welsh border, one mile from Hay-on-Wye, and set in beautiful countryside. Self check in. Host very happy to help with local recommendations. PLEASE NOTE: BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED but can be added as an extra to bookings of 2 nights or more. A warm, spacious en-suite room with private entrance in a 17th century cottage in the village of Clyro, 1 mile from the book town of Hay-on-Wye. Fully renovated last year, this room has oak floors, original oak beams, high ceilings, a large bathroom with bath/shower, French doors leading onto a terrace and the South-facing garden. Large windows flood the room with natural light and green views surround. Centrally heated and packed with insulation, the room is warm and toasty. If the breakfast basket is included in your booking (see note above) this will be delivered the night before, so you can wake up and enjoy a leisurely breakfast whenever you like. It is an ideal spot for exploring Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains, the Wye Valley and the Brecon Beacons. Pottery Cottage was the home of the potter Adam Dworski and he established the Wye Pottery in the room which is now the B&B. Private entrance to a spacious self-contained room with bedroom and bathroom. Small terrace. Private parking on drive. We are not usually around but guests can call, message or text us at any time with any questions or issues that need resolving. We have a housekeeper who lives locally who can pop round to the cottage if required. One mile from the famous booktown of Hay-on-Wye. Beautiful countryside round about including the Wye Valley, Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Radnorshire hills.
