The longer the travel time the greater the possibility of having a tranquil, isolated, and off-the-beaten destination. Luckily Malalison Island is just 15 minutes away from the coastal municipality of Culasi, Antique. Located 2 hours away from Kalibo International Airport, 1 hour away from Boracay and 4 Hours away from the City of Iloilo. Culasi can be reached by Bus or a Private car and by boat. Before leading to the Island one should pay a registration and environmental fee worth 30 Philippine Peso in the Tourism Center;a walking distance from the Municipal Hall. After paying, tourist/traveler then proceed to the scheduled pump-boat (No boatman fixers allowed already unlike before). Pump-boat minimum cost is 750 pesos good for 5 persons. Five (5) and above will be automatically paying 150 each. The boat fee includes on and off transfer to Malalison and a special island tour where you can be able to see the entire island 360-degree by the sea. Upon reaching Mararison, it's up to you for what itinerary you will be done while spending a vacation in the Island.
