St Leonards House is a unique self-catered property in North East Fife. Located in the village of Dairsie the Victorian manse house offers spectacular countryside views, with many country walks close to the house. Perfect for groups and families St Leonards House is a 10 minute drive to St Andrews, famous for its golf courses, beaches and nightlife and 15 minutes to Dundee, home to the world renowned V&A museum. St Leonards is perfectly located to experience everything Fife has to offer. The front door opens in to a vestibule and large bright hallway with the original Victoria tiled floor. Immediately to the right is a spacious lounge with multi-fuel burner, fire surround and bay windows with views over the garden. The TV has an Amazon Fire stick with access to Amazon Prime. Across the hall is a drawing room set up as a children's play room, there are plenty of toys and games to keep everyone busy. Of similar size to the lounge the drawing room also has a multi-fuel burner and bay windows. There is TV with an Amazon Fire Stick as well, with access to Amazon Prime. There is a sofa bed in the playroom which guests can use. Along the hall to the right is the dining room, with dining space and seating for up to 12. Beyond that there is a study, offering a relaxing reading space and cloakroom. Opposite the study is a well presented country kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher, and large American style fridge freezer. A kitchen dining table is also located in the kitchen for more relaxed meals or sitting relaxing with a cup of tea. We have two high chairs and can provide these on request. Towards the rear of the house is a large laundry room which guests may use and includes washing machine and dryer as well as hanging racks for more delicate items. The property also has an outbuilding off the rear courtyard which is used for storage and fuel. The back garden isa flexible space, there is outdoor seating and BBQ, perfect to enjoy the mature garden, with plenty of grass areas for the kids to play. There is also a kids play area and trampoline. At the bottom of the garden there is a gate directly into the local park. The beauty of the house is the space, you can be staying in St Leonards as part of a group but still find your own space of peace and quiet. The large rooms and high ceilings add to this feeling of space. The house was the manse house for Dairsie church and as such it was built with entertaining in mind. The double bedrooms all have beds that can either be set up as single twin beds or King beds, creating flexibility for your group, all of the bedrooms have ample storage. Bedroom 1 - King sized or twin bed, a walk in wardrobe and views over the hills. Bedroom 2 - King sized or twin bed and small bed for a child under 5, walk in wardrobe.
