Restored farm house with beautiful mountain view

The house is situated in the heart of our organic orchard . It is perched beneath the Ceuze mountain and has breathtaking views across the valley . It is a great area for walking and biking and there are nice places to swim near-by . There are 3 rooms (one has 2 single beds which can be put together as (Website hidden by Airbnb) of the living rooms can be used as a bedroom , as it has a comfortable sofa bed , and there is a small mezzanine . So 8 can be housed easily , 10 if you get on well ! There is a cosy fire-place that warms the house (which is well-insulated ). Solar panels provide hot water. The first ski resort is 45 min away ...and if you prefer moutain ski touring, Gregoire will be able to advise you or even accompany you. The lake of Serre Ponçon is 40 away . Marushka and Grégoire are organic farmers , active members of the local community . We speak English , French and Spanish fluently ( we can dabble along in Italian and Greek )and love to chat ! ( unless really busy ) .We will be pleased to show you around the farm and talk about our projects ...and life in general :-) Products of the farm ( apples , juice , some veg and eggs) are available ,depending on the season. It is a delicious mediterranean climate , hot in the summer , with relatively mild winters and sometimes snow . As we are at 900 m , the mountain air brings a refreshing breeze to the summer heat and even in winter the skies are mostly clear blue . The hills around are covered with wild thyme and lavender . There is much wild-life to be seen . The Ceuze climbing cliffs are within 20 min . You will need a car (or if very fit a bike !) to come here. The nearest airport is Marseille Provence and the nearest railway stations are Gap and Sisteron .
